Three generations of one family built and have occupied this modern house for 38 summers. The oaks and pines have grown up in those years so that the bay view is now from the roof-level deck rather than from the second floor living area, as was the case when it was built. It was designed by an architect who is a friend of the family, and the same architect designed the addition made when it was completely renovated in 2005-6. Many large windows light the living room, dining area, cook's kitchen and study on the second floor, and there are three bedrooms on the first floor: a master bedroom with large closets and connected bath, and two smaller bedrooms which share a hall bath. There is a sunny private outdoor shower just outside the master bath.
